UPDATE:
Okay, the Tyler Family Reunion “Special Event” is right around the corner on October the 2nd. My lil’ Cuz Cyndi Witty has volunteered to be the “Food Sign-Up Chairlady”. She will be posting items that folks can volunteer for. The meat, beans, and taters have been taken care of but everything else is needed. It would also be helpful if everyone would RSVP as soon as possible so we can make sure we have plenty to accommodate everyone

We have a trip planned to go to Canton, TX (about 45 minutes) to visit the cemetery where our Great Grandfather is buried. Elisha Washington (Sr) Tyler was born about 1845 in Copiah Co. Mississippi. He died Oct. 26, 1919 in Canton, TX and is buried in the Canton Cemetery.
Mark said there is a new motel just a couple of blocks from his house, if anyone needs a place to stay.
